Some of the nicest, friendliest people you ever want to meet, and a real bargain in Santa Fe. The Facility is terrrrriiifffffic and I would stay here any time I go to Santa Fe. The Food is excellent, and the fires were wonderful. The Room was very comfy and it is a short walk to down town! Just believe me and give it a try and you will be hooked.

We just had a wonderful experience at The Madeline Inn. The location is amazing, a few blocks from the Plaza. The inn exudes charm. We had the Geranium room and the Hyacinth room. The beds were super comfy and the hot breakfast was a different original New Mexican concoction each morning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again from Chicago! FYI you are a 5 minute walk from the plaza and 7 minutes from Fort Marcy ( a beautiful view from a hilll overlooking Santa Fe), go there for sunset please.

Great B&B!! Stayed here over the past weekend in the Ivy room. The Madeline has cozy location on the end of a dead-end street and is only a short 2 block walk to the Plaza. Their breakfast is actually served across the street at another B&B they own, and has a nice little selection of breakfast choices. However, they do keep a variety of drinks and snacks (including homemade cookies) available in the Madeline throughout the day. The bf and I had originally made a reservation for late March, but were unable to go because of a family medical emergency (the day before our reservation). The staff there was very accommodating, and let us reschedule our reservation to a future date without any penalty. When we checked out earlier today, there was a mix up with our room charge. Because of the date move, there was a rate change, and we were charged a $25 cancellation fee in error. We worked with Regan, who was great in helping us get our room charge settled without any hassles. The Madeline is a great little place to stay in Santa Fe and avoid the crowds of the hotels. However, if you do stay in the Ivy room, be forewarned that it is atop a somewhat steep and narrow stairway (its a converted attic space).

I LOVED MY STAY HERE!!! My boyfriend was on a major road trip with his family and I flew in for a few days to spend some time. They stayed at the condo that is affiliated with the Madeleine - called the Pinon. That condo is beautiful and clean. It is spacious and kept us very well... Beautiful. The only reason I didn't stay with them is because there was only one bathroom. I love his family - but not that much:) So I booked a room with the same owners and wound up in the MORNING GLORY ROOM at the Madeleine. It was awesome. Huge spacious room. I wanted something on the 2nd floor to feel safe. It was clean and charming. It was so quiet and the amenities were great. The staff (Reegan) was so friendly. The grounds are beautiful and it is right in town. I took walks into town for meals and shopping. It was absolutely perfect and I would stay there again for sure. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when I did book the Morning Glory room was only available for 2 or the 3 nights I was going to be there. On the 3rd night I moved to the IVY room. I don't recommend that room at all. It is the top floor - really the attic space and they did actually do a great job with it but it wasn't my cup of tea at all. Please don't let this prevent you from staying there. It is a great place.
